Kelowna patios open for business!

We have just experienced the first taste of Spring in Kelowna! We all know what that means… patio season! There are a few Okanagan patios that are already open for business and we highly recommend that you check them out, especially during happy hour 😉

1. Summerhill Pyramid Winery

It’s a beautiful day and the patio is open, complete with fire tables and heaters! Happy hour is 3-5 pm 🙂

If you’re looking for panoramic lake views and a versatile menu with gluten-free and vegan options, look no further! Summerhill’s Sunset Organic Bistro overlooks the Okanagan lake for miles and boasts one of Kelowna’s largest lakeview patios. They have a brand new menu crafted by Chef Jeremy Luypen coupled with some pretty darn good happy hour pricing.

2. Quails’ Gate Winery


Named of one the top 100 restaurants in all of Canada, Quails’ Gate Winery’s Old Vines Restaurant will not disappoint. Their patio is situated in West Kelowna in a spot that tends to get more sun! We heard they have some newly released 2018 Dry Riesling and Gewürtztraminer available on the patio if you’re needing any more reason to check it out.

3. Manteo Resort


You can nearly jump into the Okanagan Lake from the Smack DAB patio at the Manteo Lakeside Resort! One of the beautiful qualities of this patio is that it’s situated away from the noise and crowd of the downtown Kelowna core. Another bonus is that it is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late drink options! They have happy hour specials from 3-6pm daily and happy hour all day long on Sunday’s! And if you haven’t tried their famous crazy fries, you are seriously missing out.

Even though patio season hasn’t fully began in the Okanagan, we love the shoulder season for the few great options that are out there already!
